According to The Star-Ledger, remnants from Tropical Storm Lee are posing flood threats in New Jersey. With the rain from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Strom Lee combined, it is difficult to try to clean up since all the water has caused rivers to breach their banks.

The National Weather Service says Washington Township in Morris County, Phillipsburg, Andover, and Lebanon have received more than 5 inches of rain within a 12-hour period. Flood warnings are posted along parts of the Passaic, Raritan, Rockaway, Pequannock, Millstone, Ramapo, and Wanaque rivers.

In addition, among the roads affected by flooding as of 6:10 am:
• Route 23 northbound ramp to Alexander Avenue in Pequannock is closed
• Route 46 ramp to and from Main Street in Lodi is closed in both directions
• Left and center lanes of northbound Route 17 in Hasbrouck Heights near Williams Avenue is closed
• Interstate 80 eastbound ramp to Exit 65/Green Street in South Hackensack is closed
• Right lane of Route 35 southbound between County Road and Cliffwood Avenue is closed
